These Foolish Things....

Soldering on.....

I love to craft...I love to take something old or something that to another eye is merely junk(really?) and transform it into something else,something that I at least find pleasing to the eye,or perhaps something that expresses how I feel,or even,just to make something that lets my imagination just run....

So...I discovered soldering,and all at once I am addicted! I am not great at it(still learning) and to be honest,its not that well known here in the UK,you American girls are much more in the know than we are! its finding the products that is tricky,a decent polish available in the UK anyone? bevelled glass? but I am finding my way.How do you think I am doing?

 

This last piece is not actually soldered art,but just something I made on card for fun! thats what its all about really,is'nt it?

Make a wish.....

So many of my blogging friends are amazing artists, I spend many hours just looking through the blogs of others, admiring their original and beautifully inspiring creations. I love to craft, altered art is my favourite, I make cards, tags, journals, and so much more, but I am really hesitant to show it on my blog, because I feel its just not good enough!

However, recently I decided to cover an old cigar box that I picked up at a flea market. Do you have a wish list? well this is my wish box, I cut up several pieces of pretty paper, and every time my heart yearns for something I write it on one of the little bits of paper and pop it in the box!

I also keep a grattitude journal!

 

My wish today? that allof my lovely blogging friends are Healthy and happy right now!
